Terms, Plausibly
The fine print, in the house voice. It is, despite the tone, substantially true — which is more than can be said for the instruments.
The instruments are sold as objects, not as functioning apparatus. The Reduction reduces numbers; it does not foretell them. The Witness reports real data from public feeds; it does not interpret that data, and its “field coherence” is a designed aesthetic, not a measurement of anything supernatural.
Nothing on this site is advice — financial, medical, legal, astrological, or otherwise. Accuracy is not guaranteed. Vibes are.
The Observatory reads public data from third-party feeds directly in your browser. We set no tracking cookies, run no advertising networks, and store nothing about you on our servers.
If you email us, we keep your message so that we can reply to it. That is the entire arrangement.
Live readings draw on NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center, the U.S. Geological Survey, alternative.me, and the drand “League of Entropy” beacon. Their data belongs to them and is used under their respective terms.
We are grateful for all of it, and slightly suspicious of all of it.
